A discussion with Javed Akhtar, Indian poet, screenplay writer and lyricist, about popular cinema, his own film songs, his Urdu poetry lineage, tradition and creativity and the dynamic changes in the Bombay film industry.
Dr. Sangeeta Datta is an independent filmmaker, musician and cultural commentator. She is the founder-director of Baithak UK.
The event is free but registration is required.
